The Good Earth Food Coop is organizing a food drive from now through December 31st to help support those in our community who are
struggling to feed their families during these difficult times. Our
goal is to support the GEFC and the food shelf by encouraging the
purchase of food/supplies at the store to donate to those in need this
holiday season.
The GEFC will have pre-packed bags of groceries that can be purchased
in $10-$30 amounts. You may also purchase individual items in the
store and deposit them in a bin that will be at the checkout area.
Non perishable items needed include (but are certainly not limited to):

canned or jarred tomato products/fruits/veggies/beans/
soups/sauces/meats -
pasta/rice/beans/lentils/quin
oa (packaged, not bulk) - cereal/oatmeal/breakfast items
- peanut butter/jelly/nut butters/dressings
- juice/coffee/tea
- baby food
- crackers/chips
- flour/sugar/oil
- bathroom tissue/soaps/personal supplies
We are also encouraging rounding up now through the month of December
to help add to our donations to the food shelf.
