Our focus is on Local, Organic, and Fair-trade goods throughout the year, with emphasis on seasonal specialties and top-quality staples. The principles behind our food, matters to us, and we strive to convey that through careful selection and open conversation about the things we sell and eat.
A small selection of our special products:
Organic, fair trade bananas and berries.
Locally grown, organic fresh fruits and vegetables:
Asparagus, cauliflower, broccoli, cucumbers, blueberries, strawberries, greens of all types, peppers, tomatoes.
Locally grown organic staple crops:
Potatoes, onions, squash, cabbages, carrots, root crops.
Organic specialty citrus:
Blood oranges, mandarins, varietal tangerines, Texas grapefruit, kumquats, makrut limes.
Persimmons, quince, guavas, plantains, coconuts.
Our local apple selection is un-equaled in the area: We carry between 8-15 varieties of Local Organic Apples from our exclusive orchards, including Honeycrisp, Snow Sweet, Red Baron, Gideon, Northwest Greening, Fireside, Connell Red, Cortland… It is a long list!
Compare their flavor with conventionally available fruit … your taste buds will thank you!

To provide our customers with the best food at fair prices -and- provide our growers with the wage they need to support themselves.
We choose Certified Organic, Locally grown, and Fair Trade products. Our Produce department is on-average 98% organic. During peak local season, up to 50% of our sales are in locally grown items, with fair, living-wage prices paid to our local producers.
We buy and market in-season items with preference. Our inventory shifts considerably throughout the year, keeping stride with the season, and allowing for the freshest product.
We take pride in consistent quality, taste, and pricing. Much of our Organic produce is priced competitively with conventionally-grown available elsewhere. Most stores offer high-priced Organics alongside conventional, discouraging the purchase of Organic foods.
What does this mean for you?
Given the above, it means that much of the leg-work in providing quality food for you and your family is done. It means that you can count on Value when you shop at the Good Earth Food Co-op.
We hope you feel the same way, and always welcome any questions, comments, and concerns.
